About

Hi everyone, I am Shameer Griffin the creator of Papa Trinity Collectibles.

I would love to tell you about myself so that you can have a better understanding of my brand and my company. I like to say at times that I am no one special, but that couldn't be any further from the truth. We all have an amazing story to tell and I didn't grasp that realization until about a few years ago. We all have a voice and never forget that.

Well where do I begin. I would first like to tell you about how Papa Trinity Collectibles started. As for it's naming, I know a lot of people have asked me how did I come up with that name and why?

Well first, I was spent and burnt from endless business ideas and countless failures. At the exact time I was about to give up, I was watching the movie called "The Shack" on Netflix. That's when I got the name Papa Trinity. You should definitely watch the movie, it was life changing for me.

Now to the interesting story about me and why I thought it was a great idea to make a collectible business. Well it's not a crazy story, but I think it's an interesting one. Like most grandparents they tend to influence some aspect of your life and my grandfather definitely left an impression. He was somewhat of a hoarder, but he was a great collector.

I remember we use to go trash hunting at night when my mom was sleep. He was told countless of times to stop his endless search for buried treasured. He use to tell me all the time "that one man's trash, is another man's treasure." We found a lot of gems over the years and that is what made me start Papa Trinity.

Now for the story about me. I was a kid born in a tough city called Philadelphia. I didn't grow up poor, but I wasn't rich in the literal sense. I was exposed to a lot of things that I called myself lucky to experience. Fast forward to now. I am a car salesman at Volkswagen. I've been selling cars for the past five years and there's a huge disconnect from the emotional experience, but I've done a great job to provide a great experience.

Now as I currently write these words, I feel the emotional attachment and nostalgia of collectible items. I really feel the passion and love for the items I use to collect and I can't get enough of the excitement when some purchases an item from me. This is my path of change and I am hitting the ground running!!!
